15. Last music concert that I've visited (Tim's topic)

In the end of April (night from 27 to 28) I visited Zveri's concert in “Stadium Live” with several friends. "Zveri” is one of the most famous Russian pop-rock band, which formed in 2001 by Roma "Zver' " Bilyk. The name of band is translating in english like animals.

I can't say that it is my the most favorite band, but I really like them from my childhood. I was 11 or 12 years old when I heard them in the first time. The song was "Dojdi-pistolety" and I really liked it. I bought their first album on CD and listened to it very often.

Before the concert I know only their very popular songs and songs from their first album. When I was going to visit their concert I thought that I would know only 5-7 songs they would play. But there were only 5 from 23 songs I didn't know, other songs I know very well.

It was really good gig. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, sound and so on. After the concert I downloaded all their albums and they are really good too.

HSE-NES. First year. Ruslan's topic

As our first university year is finishing, it's time to develop a general opinion about student's life and our department. What is your impression about this year (studies, people, changes in your life, etc.)? What do you think about the results you are going to have?

The first year in NES is finishing and I have many feelings and emotions about it.

In a few words about studying. I really like some subjects. In my opinion, The History of Arts was the most interesting subject in this year. I found out a lot about architecture, painting, and sculpture and so on. This subject became a reason to visit The Pushkin Museum, which I visited in January, and The State Tretyakov Gallery, which I want to visit in this Thursday. I also really like English and Biology, they are very interesting subjects, I read a few interesting books such as 1984 written by Orwell and Speaking Apes written by Zorina.

I am very happy that I live in dormitory. It is very fan and from time to time I can go to someone to ask to help with something. We have really good time during this year, I find many good friends besides the girls from my school, who live in my room. But from time to time It’s hard to do something because people are everywhere and it can disturb.

So, it is all for now. But I want to say that this year was very good.

How Ted Met his Wife (Ksenia's topic)

This serial is about Ted, who wants to find a wife, and his five friend, Lily, Marshall, Barney and Robin, who help Ted with this situation.

I am afraid to spoil the plot (I hate spoilers, it is one of the worst things in the world), so I will write only several facts about this serial:
1. It contains 8 seasons; the 9th will came out next autumn. It will be last season
2. I really like jokes in this serial. Before watching it, I think that The Big Bang Theory is the funniest serial, but now I understand that How I met your mother is mush better
3. You can hear several songs in serial, which were sung by actors and actresses of this serial. I really like Nothing Suits Me Like a Suit sung by Neil Patrick Harris Barney, this character always wear suits, he even has pajamas like suits). This song was my ringtone several weeks ago.

I am looking forward for 9th season. I think it was really amazing, because finally Ted will meet the mother of his child and he will be happy, because he has found her for 9 (for this moment 8) years.

While (not) my guitar gently weeps (free choice)

I really like music, I really like playing guitar. I have learned play the guitar for 2 years, when I was 14-15 years old.
I don't remember when I play my guitar, because it was left by me in my native city. But from time to time I take it from people who have it. Today I took it from one my acquaintance. It was beautiful evening. I played the guitar, tried to teach my roommate to do it, it was very funny, I don't believe that several years ago I just the same way try playing it. It's seems like I can do it for eternity.
I think a guitar is really beautiful music instrument. I can play piano and guitar, but last one I like more, I don’t know why, but sounds from guitar is really amazing.
I adore songs in acoustic treatment. It’s really amazing. Nirvana’s and 30 seconds to Mars’ songs in acoustic version are beautiful; I think they are better than original versions.
So, in conclusion I want to say that music is really beautiful thing. And this day was really amazing in spite of the fact I forgot about my homework and only was playing guitar.

Jealousy (Masha's topic)

Do you think jealous is a normal feeling? How do you react if someone is jealous about you? How often are you jealous?

I think that jealousy is a normal feeling. Everybody was jealous about someone; it could be parents, friends, a boyfriend or a girlfriend, a husband or a wife, it could be even a dog. We are jealous when the person can’t (or don’t want to) give us as much attention that we need or want, but we can see or think that this attention gets someone else.

I think it is a really bad feeling, because it brings us only experiences. There were accidents when people suicided because of jealousy. Jealousy can become a reason of quarrels, divorces and so on.

I think when people are jealous about someone, it a really bad period in their life, because jealousy contains many negative emotions and feelings. If you are jealous, you should find an interesting hobby or meet with close friends, because it will help you aside negative thoughts and you will feel yourself better.

I can be jealous from time to time, if I had causes to be. I really hates such periods of time, because they are really hard for me.

My first memory (Michael's topic)

The first thing which I remember is the event when my grandfather was walking arm in arm my grandmother to the kitchen.

In that moment my grandmother was very ill, I don’t remember her death, I don’t remember her burial, I don’t remember my emotions, my feelings. I have few memories from my childhood but this moment is the only moment I remember in colors from my early childhood, it is my first memory. I was 2 years old.

There is such love, such care between my grandparents, I was really surprised, because there were many people who were younger and stronger than my grandfather, his child, but he helped her go to the kitchen. It was hard for her to walk at that time and he helped her, because he felt that she needed him, not only his help, but his love and his care.

My mum and dad told me a lot of stories about my childhood, but not this. It’s my memory, it’s not from photos and videos, I remember it from time from time, because it is in my head, in my soul.

It is the only memory about my grandmother, because she died when I was two years old, but I remember her not only due to photos.
